David A Hertig/... just give it a cleaning. salt+rubbing alcohol cleans well, and isn't toxic. you can boil it, too. it's glass, right?

David A Hertig/... put table salt inside it, pour some rubbing alcohol in it, put your fingers over all the holes, and shake the heck out of it. Should knock everything out of the inside. Then, I usually use an old crappy toothbrush or something to clean the bowl. Salt, rubbing alcohol there, maybe some dish soap, scrub scrub scrub, good as new!
